Artist Statement
I am fascinated by the variety of trails and traces we leave behind. Trees scratch buildings, paw prints on paths, rocks slow dancing and crashing, and kids writing on the wall. If I were a pen moving across the earth what would the drawing of my life look like from above? Direct from my hand or vicariously through sculpture and performance, I explore signature vs accident and the overlap in mark making.
