Chris Wright Evans is an artist who shows how people relate to place and generate reality through photography. After graduating from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, Evans moved to New York City where he lived and worked until 2017, printing for photographer Joel Meyerowitz, and retouching for Droga5, and Urban Print and Motion. While earning his MFA from the University of North Texas, Evans was selected as a finalist for the Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas Project Fund three years consecutively between 2018-20. In the spring of 2020 Evans was invited to participate in the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth's public art project, MODERN BILLINGS. Evans earned his MFA from the University of North Texas in 2020.
