About the Artist

Ryan Runcie lives in Austin, Texas. His paintings are in private collections and boasts large scale public murals across central Texas. His acrylic paintings explore an other worldly spectacle, bound only by imagination. In 2016, Runcie received his b.f.a. from Texas State University in communication design yet has been producing art for many years prior. He has traveled through multiple Caribbean islands and France, studying their cultures and the relationship to their art in order to better relate his work globally. Ryan Runcie has been commissioned to create murals and various installations for The City of San Marcos, Ebay, Capital Metro, George W.
