Hallie Rae Ward is an artist and the Art Business Director at Art for the People, an artisan market and art gallery in Austin, Texas. Ward's personal art includes fine art and her design line, Positively Poppin'. She has her BFA in Visual Arts with a minor in Business Management from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Ward began seriously studying art in college, graduated in 2012, and has been pursuing her passions ever since. One of Ward's biggest achievements is having had a solo exhibition, You & Me: It's In Our Nature at Gallery 701 at the Long Center in 2016. She currently has a piece hanging outside the Rollins Theatre at the Long Center. Other achievements include being selected to participate in the People's Gallery, a juried show in Austin's City Hall, in 2013 and 2015, and participating in a group show at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in 2014. She has continuously participated in group shows, including The Femme Abstract in 2018 and several exhibitions at Art For The People since 2015, as well as the Big Medium's Studio Tours since 2013. Ward continues to sell work to and is commissioned by patrons for residential and commercial spaces.
