Jess Went to school at Kansas City Art Institute and Pacific Northwest College of Art respectively, earning his B.F.A. in Photography from the latter. He has spent the last decade or so living and working in Central Texas; sharing studios with his wife at the Canopy Art Complex in Austin, TX and at the Eye of the Dog Art Center in San Marcos, TX.
