Alicia Philley is an abstract artist who uses vibrant color and shimmering paints to explore the subjective experience of light in nature. Philley completed the BFA program in painting with a focus on color theory at Hunter College, NYC in 2005. She works out of the Third Space Arts studios in Austin, is a founding member of the artists group Ingrained and her art has shown in galleries and art centers around Texas, New York and New Jersey. Her paintings are part of private and corporate collections in Texas, California, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Missouri, Canada, Germany and Spain.
