After graduating from the University of Texas in Art Education, I worked as an art teacher in AISD Metz Elementary school for 5 years.
In 2001 I moved to Taos, NM and opened a gallery on the Taos Plaza. The gallery served as a platform for local artists to promote their art and products. During that time I organized art shows, receptions and wrote reviews for the local news paper. I had several commissions and sold many paintings.
I have participated in several studio tours in Austin and Taos selling my work in all tours.
