While attending Texas State University I had a dream my drawings were under a clear surface. I set out to find the correct tools to bring the dream into the world. I used epoxy over the surfaces of my drawings, then layered glass and pigments on top of the warm and curing mixture. After the curing process was complete, I used a Dremel to carve into the surface as if drawing in three dimensions. I work in a unique way with this challenging medium. The random and intentional distribution of materials is both beautiful and dangerous much like the universe. All-time and energy reside in the art, which can be quite a wild ride.
