Jennifer Hill is a studio artist working in Austin TX. Her artwork has appeared in numerous exhibitions, including the notable Hawaii's Modern Masters in Waikiki and the more recent Ciò Che Muore in Rome, Italy. In Texas she has exhibited widely including solo shows at the Georgetown Art Center and Studio Gallery at Brookhaven College, two-person shows at the Dougherty Arts Center and Atelier 1205, and has appeared in unique venues such as the Peoples' Gallery at Austin City Hall, Dimension Gallery, and the Neill Cochran House Museum.
Jennifer earned an MFA in ceramics from Utah State University, Logan, a BFA from Southern Methodist University and attended the University of Florida, Gainesville for a post baccalaureate study. She was artist-in residence at Chester Springs Studio in Pennsylvania, and taught college in both Oregon and Hawaii. Currently she maintains a studio practice in Austin and teaches at area art centers including The Contemporary Austin's Art School at Laguna Gloria. Feeling fortunate to have attended a studio residency in Italy last year, Jennifer looks forward to continue creating work inspired by this exciting journey.
