A life distilled down to 200 words! Less if you are counting these. I started my art career in Chicago . . . but that's not exactly true, is it? I "started" painting and sculpting in Denver, but didn't have any major shows until moving to Chicago. That was around the year 2000. Since then, I have had more public exhibitions than I care to keep track of. I've bounced around the country, have shown work in the States and overseas. I have taken on some pretty exciting commissions, and seen my work evolve from simple life castings to complex sculptures. I have a penchant for the dark, and what lies beneath the current of reality we all float on. I use my work to explore a bit of this. In addition to sculpture and digital art, I have recently taken up writing—exploring the narrative that binds my creations together. At this point, it is one of the most fulfilling things I do. I currently reside just outside of Austin and my website is a mess.
