Regina Allen is a nationally exhibiting landscape artist. Her work reflects her apprehensions about a changing environment and celebrates the tenacity of nature. Regina grew up in the rolling hills of Nashville, Tennessee. She earned a BFA in Painting and BA in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MFA in Painting from the Department of Art Theory & Practice at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She's taught in a variety of schools from public universities to private art colleges, and is currently a Professor of Visual Arts and the Visual Arts Program Coordinator at Central Texas College in Killeen, TX. She lives and works in Austin, TX with her husband writer Neal Pollack and their son.
