About the Artist

Kerry Kittrell is known for her cauldrons of transformation and artworks honoring Gaia and the Great Mother. She received her BFA in Sculpture from San Jose State University in 1999 and moved back to Austin. Her interests in different cultures and cosmologies continued with immersion into Celtic spiritual traditions, Old Norse cosmology, and Shambhala Buddhism. Pilgrimages to sacred sites in France, England, Crete, and the Pacific Northwest deepened her spiritual callings. These influences are woven into her mixed media artworks and abstract paintings. Her award-winning cauldrons and other sacred artworks have been shown in numerous EAST and WEST Austin Studio Tours as well as other venues.
