(b. 1979; Dayton, Ohio)I am a primarily self-taught visual artist. My formative influences were exploring the scrap yard where my father worked and summers roaming the Dayton Art Institute. I was an only child, and most of my childhood was spent reading and drawing. I attended a Catholic school for kids who are jerks. In 2001, I graduated Antioch College with a degree in film, lived in a bunch of places (but most often New Jersey), and worked in various capacities in fine art, film, and design. In 2011, I co-founded Austin Art Services, where I was a partner for 10 years. I currently live in south Austin with my wife, our son, one dog, two cats, and five-hundred unfinished projects. My hair is white because I see ghosts.
