Being a lifetime maker, I have always known that I wanted to combine my love of the arts and entrepreneurship into one. I started creating beadwork jewelry in 2016, but always had this deep longing to be working with metals and gemstones. In 2018 I took the leap and enrolled in my first Metal Smithing course at a local studio and instantly felt a deep, undeniable connection with the time honored trade. I immediately enrolled in the Jewelry program at a local college and within a year I left my job as a manager at a boutique in order to pursue jewelry full time. I now work from my small home studio, typically working in Sterling Silver which often features hand selected gemstones as the showcase of the piece. In addition to metals, I still continue to create beadwork earrings using traditional hand weaving and bead embroidery techniques. I am deeply inspired by nature, as well as various art mediums including textiles, illustrations, and sculptural work. I feel incredibly connected with this time honored craft and feel so lucky to be creating wearable pieces of art for all of you beautiful people.
