About the Artist

Ashley Blazer is a multi-media artist from The Plains, Virginia. Her work is rooted in activism relating to themes of women's empowerment, conservation and other social justice issues, as well as in a celebration of and profound respect for the natural world.Ashley has studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design, the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, and the Art Students League of New York. She holds an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, and a BA from Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee.
